Bitstamp highlighted that this partnership offers users a seamless and optimized checkout experience for cryptocurrency conversion, allowing near-instant settlement of transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Understanding Stripe&#8217;s On-Ramp<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Launched in May 2023, Stripe\u2019s fiat-to-crypto on-ramp is designed for individuals who lack crypto holdings, enabling them to transact in cryptocurrencies effortlessly. This solution addresses the \u201ccold start problem\u201d by allowing customers to purchase crypto when they need it and exchange it for other assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stripe offers two implementations for its on-ramp solution:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Embeddable On-Ramp<\/strong>: Developers can easily integrate a crypto-purchasing widget into their websites or apps with minimal coding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Stripe-Hosted On-Ramp<\/strong>: Companies can direct their customers to a Stripe-hosted site, Crypto.link.com, to facilitate crypto purchases without coding.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bitstamp\u2019s Role in the Partnership<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In this collaboration, Bitstamp will handle fiat-to-cryptocurrency conversions and transfers for consumers. This partnership also expands Bitstamp-as-a-service, a crypto solution providing backend infrastructure built with the Bitstamp exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stripe\u2019s crypto on-ramp supports several cryptocurrencies, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bitcoin (BTC)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ether (ETH)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solana\u2019s SOL<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stellar Lumen (XLM)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>USD Coin (USDC)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, Stripe ensures compliance with regulatory requirements such as Know Your Customer (KYC) verifications and sanctions screening, ensuring instant crypto delivery post-KYC.
