Despite this setback, the platform confirmed that withdrawals will be available for certain digital assets starting on September 21, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Assets for Early Withdrawals<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In its latest update, BingX clarified that withdrawals for the following digital assets will be reactivated first:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tether (USDT)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Circle\u2019s USD Coin (USDC)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bitcoin (BTC)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ethereum (ETH)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tron (TRX)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solana (SOL)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the following two weeks, withdrawal services for additional tokens and assets will gradually return. BingX also notified users that any pending withdrawal requests submitted before the suspension have been canceled and will need to be resubmitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Investigating the Incident and Securing Funds<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Vivien Lin, Chief Product Officer at BingX, told that the hack\u2019s financial impact was mitigated by the exchange\u2019s use of cold storage, which isolated most client funds. She also confirmed that $10 million of the stolen assets had already been frozen, thanks to BingX\u2019s collaboration with blockchain security firms SlowMist and Chainalysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lin reassured users that BingX\u2019s &#8220;sufficient reserves&#8221; would cover all potential losses, emphasizing the exchange\u2019s solid six-year track record in the cryptocurrency space. While the initial losses were considered minor, the figure quickly escalated to $52 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ongoing Cybersecurity Threats in Crypto<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>BingX is just one of several platforms targeted by cybercriminals this September.
