He emphasized that the agency has not established clear rules or guidelines for crypto firms to follow, leading to legal battles and conflicting court rulings. \u201cOur policies and our approach over the last several years have been just really a disaster for the whole industry,\u201d Uyeda remarked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He further added, \u201cWe have been sending this policy through enforcement, we\u2019ve done nothing to provide guidance on it, and as a result, this has been achieved by the courts, and different courts have ruled different ways.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
