The rollout began on December 8, 2025, and gives customers direct access to digital assets without using outside exchanges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-early-rollout-reaches-two-million-users\">Early Rollout Reaches Two Million Users<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>BPCE activated the feature for users of Banque Populaire and Caisse d\u2019\u00c9pargne. These customers can now buy and sell cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and USD Coin. The bank routed all trades through Hexarq, its crypto-focused subsidiary, so users do not need separate wallets or third party platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bank plans to expand access through 2026. About two million people can use the service today. BPCE expects the feature to reach nearly twelve million retail clients across its full network once the rollout is complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-the-new-crypto-service-works\">How the New Crypto Service Works<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The in-app trading system aims to simplify crypto investing for everyday users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key features include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A built in trading interface available inside existing banking apps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A monthly fee of \u20ac2.99<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A 1.5 percent commission on each trade with a minimum charge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This setup creates a familiar environment for customers who may feel uncertain about using external exchanges.
