BitMine Immersion Technologies has pushed its Ethereum holdings above 5.8 million ETH, reinforcing its position as the largest corporate Ethereum treasury even as its latest purchase fell sharply from earlier accumulation levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The company added 7,391 ETH over the past week, bringing its total holdings to 5,805,238 ETH. The latest acquisition marks a much slower pace than the six-figure weekly purchases BitMine made earlier this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
BitMine has said it intends to accumulate Ethereum toward a target of controlling 5% of the cryptocurrency’s total supply. Its holdings now represent roughly 4.8% of Ethereum’s supply, keeping the company close to that objective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, BitMine has previously indicated that it would slow its accumulation pace. The company said its decision reflected a shift in capital allocation as it also repurchased millions of its own shares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That approach creates a different dynamic for investors. BitMine is not simply directing all available capital toward Ethereum. Instead, management is weighing additional ETH purchases against opportunities to increase shareholder value through stock buybacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The company also continues to stake a large portion of its Ethereum holdings. More than 4.9 million ETH was already staked in recent company updates, allowing BitMine to seek staking income while maintaining its long-term exposure to Ethereum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The latest increase highlights how rapidly BitMine has expanded its digital-asset treasury. The company held about 1.15 million ETH in August 2025. Its holdings have since multiplied several times as management pursued its 5% Ethereum ownership goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The scale of the treasury also makes BitMine increasingly sensitive to movements in ETH prices. A sustained Ethereum rally could significantly increase the dollar value of its holdings, while a sharp decline could pressure the company’s balance sheet and stock valuation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For now, the 5.8 million ETH milestone shows that BitMine remains committed to its long-term Ethereum strategy despite moderating its weekly buying pace.
