Lin found that the government lacked a sufficient legal and factual basis for imposing such sweeping restrictions. She also concluded that the actions violated Anthropic’s First Amendment protections and raised due-process concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ruling could have significant implications for the rapidly expanding market for government AI contracts. Anthropic has positioned Claude as a major enterprise AI platform, while government agencies increasingly seek access to advanced models for national-security applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
