XRP Healthcare has begun winding down its normal operations after a security incident drained about $452,000 from thousands of XRPH Wallet accounts. The company also plans an orderly delisting of its XRPH and XRPHAI tokens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The incident began Sept. 3 and affected about 4,011 wallets, according to the company. Unauthorized transactions involved XRP, XRPH, XRPHAI and other digital assets. The company advised users to stop using the XRPH Wallet while investigators examined the breach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Blockchain investigators traced the stolen assets through multiple networks before they reached an Ethereum address. On-chain analysis identified roughly 267,664 XRP and 23.2 million XRPH among the affected assets. The assets were later converted into about 445,198 DAI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, investigators have offered different explanations for how attackers gained control of the wallets. An independent analysis alleged that the wallet’s staking process exposed seed phrases. XRP Healthcare disputed that finding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The company’s own technical investigation identified a different vulnerability in the wallet-generation process. It said improperly formatted entropy drastically reduced the effective keyspace, potentially allowing attackers to reconstruct private keys without obtaining users’ seed phrases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
XRP Healthcare said the wallet incident added significant financial and operational pressure to a business already facing difficult conditions. The company cited a prolonged bear market and substantial costs associated with an unsuccessful attempt to pursue a public listing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the wind-down, XRP Healthcare said it will coordinate with exchange partners on the delisting of XRPH and XRPHAI. Individual exchanges will determine withdrawal arrangements and deadlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The company said it will continue pursuing recovery options for the affected funds and cooperate with exchanges, platforms and authorities. The XRPH Wallet applications will remain offline while the security investigation continues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The incident highlights the risks associated with cryptocurrency wallets, particularly when a vulnerability affects private-key generation.
