Kaiko has raised $110 million in a Series B funding round led by S&P Global, highlighting growing institutional demand for digital asset market data and infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The New York-based crypto data provider said the financing will strengthen its core data business and expand products for onchain capital markets. The round also attracted major financial institutions and trading firms, including BNP Paribas, Nasdaq, Royal Bank of Canada, Bpifrance and Susquehanna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kaiko previously raised $53 million in its Series B in 2022. The latest investment brings the overall round to $110 million. The company did not disclose a valuation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kaiko provides market data, analytics, indices and infrastructure across digital asset markets. Its coverage now spans more than 150 cryptocurrency exchanges and protocols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The fresh capital comes as banks, asset managers and exchanges increase their focus on tokenized financial assets. These products can represent traditional instruments such as stocks and bonds on blockchain networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, the company has expanded its institutional footprint through strategic partnerships and acquisitions. Its business now targets both crypto-native markets and the growing intersection between blockchain networks and traditional finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The timing also follows a new collaboration between S&P Dow Jones Indices and Kaiko. The companies recently introduced a combined digital asset index suite designed to serve institutional investors and financial product providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
S&P Global’s investment signals a broader effort by established financial institutions to build infrastructure for digital assets. The partnership gives Kaiko access to a major global financial brand while supporting S&P’s involvement in the evolving tokenized markets sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kaiko said its data infrastructure will remain central to its expansion. The company provides market information used for trading, valuation, risk management and financial products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The investment arrives despite a more challenging crypto market environment following a retreat in cryptocurrency prices from late-2025 highs. However, institutional interest in digital asset infrastructure continues to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
