Data from a 2024 investor survey by Australian crypto exchange Independent Reserve illustrates a significant embrace of crypto among Australians, with 27.5%\u2014approximately 7.15 million\u2014now owning cryptocurrency. Notably, these investors are not just dabbling but are actively investing an average of $500 monthly into digital assets. O’Loghlen sees this as a foundation for further growth and innovation in the Australian crypto landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Looking ahead, O’Loghlen is particularly interested in two emerging trends within the Australian crypto market. The first is the growing interest in crypto from self-managed retirement funds, which, although currently small in portfolio percentage, represent a substantial investment potential.
