The SEC\u2019s approval of Ethereum ETFs on May 24, 2024, has intensified the scrutiny on South Korea\u2019s Financial Services Commission (FSC) and Financial Supervisory Service (FSS). Local media reports suggest that this decision may compel Seoul\u2019s financial regulators to reconsider their conservative stance on digital assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlike the U.S., Korean regulators have been cautious about allowing crypto asset trading on traditional securities markets.
