The announcement on June 3 marks a significant step for OKX, which previously operated as Okcoin Europe in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Comprehensive Crypto Services<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The newly launched OKX centralized crypto exchange (CEX) allows Dutch customers to trade approximately 150 cryptocurrencies, offering at least 60 trading pairs with the euro. Additionally, OKX has integrated with the local payment system iDeal, facilitating seamless euro deposits and withdrawals. OKX&#8217;s services also include support for the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) system, ensuring easy and free euro transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Features and Offerings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Residents of the Netherlands can access a variety of services through the OKX CEX, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Spot cryptocurrency trading<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Staking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Web3 wallet for full custody of their crypto<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe launch of our centralized exchange and OKX Wallet in the Netherlands is a significant milestone in our long-term commitment to the country,\u201d stated Erald Ghoos, OKX Europe general manager. He emphasized that OKX has built a local team of experts and designed products tailored to Dutch users&#8217; needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Background and Expansion<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>OKX&#8217;s journey in the Netherlands began in 2021 when it started serving users as Okcoin Europe, after registering with the Dutch Central Bank, De Nederlandsche Bank. In April, the exchange rebranded to OKX.
