At a recent event in Italy, Dorsey expressed strong views on Bitcoin’s potential. He believes that over time, people will recognize Bitcoin’s value and power, seeing it as a viable alternative to the U.S. dollar. Dorsey stated, “It\u2019s going to take some time, but little by little, people see the value of this system and why it\u2019s so powerful and why it could potentially complement or replace the U.S. dollar, which rules everything and is currently being challenged by the Chinese yuan.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dorsey explained that the U.S. dollar and the Chinese yuan are two entities that control the value of money without democratic election, whereas Bitcoin offers greater control and free agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In May, Dorsey predicted that Bitcoin’s price could soar to $1 million by 2030. This forecast is driven by advancements and investments Block is making in Bitcoin technology. Dorsey emphasized that Bitcoin’s decentralized nature provides a level of free agency that traditional fiat currencies cannot match. His optimistic outlook suggests that as more people understand and adopt Bitcoin, its role in the global financial system will grow significantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
