BitMine Immersion Technologies has expanded its Ethereum treasury again, adding 27,180 ETH over the past week and lifting its holdings to 5.96 million ETH. The latest purchase strengthens the company’s position as one of the largest corporate holders of Ethereum.
The company reported 5,956,378 ETH as of September 13. At an ETH price of about $2,513, the holdings were worth roughly $15 billion. BitMine now controls about 4.9% of Ethereum’s total supply.
Growing Ethereum Treasury
BitMine has maintained a steady accumulation strategy since launching its Ethereum treasury program in June 2025. The latest purchase follows a 28,086 ETH acquisition reported the previous week.
The company’s Ethereum position has grown rapidly in recent months. Its holdings stood at about 5.90 million ETH at the end of August and reached 5.93 million by September 7.
Most of BitMine’s Ethereum is also working to generate staking income. The company reported 5,067,309 ETH staked, representing about 85% of its holdings.
- Staked ETH: 5.07 million
- Ethereum holdings: 5.96 million
- Ethereum supply controlled: About 4.9%
- Total crypto, cash and other holdings: About $15.8 billion
Bullish Ethereum Outlook
BitMine Chairman Tom Lee continues to maintain a bullish view on Ethereum. Capital markets adviser Tom DeMark also expects ETH to make a sharp upward move in the coming weeks.
The company has pointed to Ethereum’s strengthening performance against Bitcoin and broader market trends as potential catalysts. BitMine also expects tokenization and blockchain-based artificial intelligence to support future Ethereum demand.
With its latest purchase, BitMine is now close to its stated goal of acquiring 5% of Ethereum’s supply. However, reaching that threshold will depend on future purchases and changes in Ethereum’s circulating supply.
The continued accumulation highlights how some public companies are increasingly using crypto treasury strategies to gain direct exposure to digital assets.
