H100 Names Peter Warren CIO as Bitcoin Treasury Reaches 3,506 BTC

H100 Group has appointed veteran market executive Peter C. Warren as chief investment officer after completing a transaction that added 2,455.37 Bitcoin to its treasury. The Swedish-listed company now holds 3,506.4 BTC, nearly tripling its position from about 1,051 BTC.

Warren takes charge of derivatives and risk management as H100 expands its Bitcoin treasury operations. The company said the strategy will seek to manage downside exposure while generating additional cash flow without giving up long-term Bitcoin exposure.

Warren takes control of treasury risk strategy

Warren brings more than 45 years of capital markets experience to the role. His background includes trading, market making, hedge fund management and investment leadership across multiple asset classes.

Before joining H100, Warren served as CIO at Warren Capital and helped manage Bitcoin holdings through Moonshot and related businesses. He also has experience across foreign exchange, interest rates, equities, bonds, commodities and derivatives.

The appointment gives H100 a dedicated investment leader as it integrates the Norwegian businesses acquired in its latest transaction. The company plans to use Warren’s expertise to develop its derivatives capabilities and strengthen treasury risk management.

2,455 BTC deal reshapes H100

H100 completed its acquisition of NSD AS on Aug. 10. The transaction brought 2,455.37 BTC into the group and lifted total holdings to 3,506.4 BTC.

The deal used newly issued H100 shares rather than cash. H100 issued 790.5 million shares to the sellers, with the transaction structured around the Bitcoin contributed by each side.

The enlarged treasury gives H100 a significantly larger balance sheet and expands its potential role among European Bitcoin treasury companies. The company has also retained its health technology operations alongside the Bitcoin strategy.

Shareholders will vote on Warren’s proposed board seat at an extraordinary general meeting on Aug. 28. The proposed board expansion also includes Geir Harald Hansen, Donald Ewer and Daniel Nyberg.

H100’s next challenge will be execution. Warren’s appointment places risk management and derivatives at the center of the company’s effort to turn its larger Bitcoin reserve into a broader treasury and cash-flow strategy.
