Unique Wealth Reports $10.4 Million Bitcoin ETF Exposure in SEC Disclosure

Bitcoin ETF

Unique Wealth, a Tampa-based investment advisory firm, has disclosed approximately $10.4 million in Bitcoin exposure through exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The holdings appeared in its latest Form 13F filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The disclosure, reported on October 16, 2026, highlights the growing use of regulated Bitcoin investment products among traditional financial advisors. It also demonstrates how wealth managers can gain cryptocurrency exposure without directly holding digital assets.

Unique Wealth Reveals Bitcoin ETF Investments

Unique Wealth reported Bitcoin exposure primarily through spot Bitcoin ETFs, including products managed by Bitwise and BlackRock.

The firm’s disclosed investments include approximately $5.3 million in the Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB) and $2.1 million in BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT). Together, these two positions account for roughly $7.4 million of its reported cryptocurrency exposure.

The overall $10.4 million allocation represents a relatively small portion of the firm’s broader investment assets. Nevertheless, the disclosure illustrates how Bitcoin ETFs have become part of diversified investment strategies.

These funds allow financial advisors to obtain Bitcoin exposure through conventional brokerage accounts. Investors can therefore participate in Bitcoin price movements without managing cryptocurrency wallets or private keys.

Institutional Bitcoin Adoption Continues

Unique Wealth’s disclosure comes as traditional financial institutions increasingly incorporate cryptocurrency-related products into their portfolios.

Spot Bitcoin ETFs provide a regulated investment structure that appeals to advisors managing client assets. Their familiar trading mechanisms and integration with established financial markets have helped expand access to Bitcoin.

However, a Form 13F filing represents a snapshot of reportable securities held at the end of a reporting period. It does not necessarily indicate when an investment was purchased or whether the firm has changed its exposure since that date.

Consequently, the disclosure should not automatically be interpreted as evidence of fresh Bitcoin purchases.

What the Filing Means for Bitcoin

The $10.4 million position adds another example of cryptocurrency exposure appearing in traditional investment portfolios.

Although the allocation remains modest relative to Unique Wealth’s overall business, it demonstrates the role Bitcoin ETFs can play in wealth management.

Institutional participation may support broader cryptocurrency market development over time. However, individual portfolio disclosures do not guarantee increased demand or higher Bitcoin prices.

For investors, the filing reinforces a significant market development: Bitcoin exposure is increasingly accessible through established financial products rather than direct cryptocurrency ownership.
