XRP exchange-traded funds continue to draw institutional attention, with recent inflows adding to a broader trend of capital moving into regulated XRP investment products.
A reported $22.65 million purchase linked to clients of Bitwise and Franklin Templeton has highlighted renewed interest in XRP exposure. However, the specific figure and attribution could not be independently verified through top-tier financial reporting.
Institutional Demand Builds
Recent market data shows stronger evidence of sustained demand. U.S.-listed spot XRP ETFs recorded 11 consecutive trading sessions of net inflows through early September, attracting about $170 million during that streak. Cumulative inflows since launch reached roughly $1.68 billion.
Franklin Templeton’s XRP fund led one recent session with $6.63 million in inflows, while Grayscale followed with $4.72 million. The data suggests that demand has extended beyond a single issuer.
CoinDesk reported that Goldman Sachs was the largest disclosed institutional holder of XRP funds at the end of the second quarter, with about $87.4 million of exposure based on regulatory filings. Those filings, however, do not show whether institutions maintained, hedged, or changed those positions during later inflows.
ETF Flows Meet a Volatile Market
The growing institutional footprint comes as XRP remains sensitive to broader crypto-market conditions. XRP rose sharply during late August before pulling back, while regulated derivatives activity also increased.
The ETF flows provide evidence of sustained demand, but they do not establish a direct path for XRP’s price. Fund inflows can reflect portfolio allocation, trading strategies, or other forms of market exposure.
As a result, expectations for XRP to reach a new all-time high by the end of 2026 remain market forecasts rather than confirmed outcomes. The key developments to watch are continued ETF subscriptions, institutional holdings and XRP’s broader market performance.
