BitMine Immersion Technologies has expanded its Ethereum treasury to 5,983,940 ETH, bringing the company within 16,060 tokens of the 6 million mark. The company disclosed the figure on September 21 after purchasing another 27,562 ETH during the latest reporting period.
The latest filing also values BitMine’s combined crypto, cash, marketable securities and strategic investments at $17.1 billion. The company priced its ETH holdings at $2,688 per token as of September 20.
Ethereum Treasury Expands
BitMine’s latest accumulation represents about 4.9% of the 122.1 million ETH supply cited in its disclosure. The company says it has reached 98% of its stated goal of accumulating 5% of Ethereum’s supply.
The treasury now includes several other assets alongside Ethereum:
- 212 BTC
- $714 million in cash and marketable securities
- A $180 million stake in Beast Industries
- A $105 million stake in Eightco Holdings
BitMine also reported 5,067,309 ETH held in staking, valued at about $13.6 billion using its stated ETH price.
Corporate Crypto Treasuries Grow
The latest figures highlight how public companies are expanding beyond traditional Bitcoin treasury strategies. BitMine has made Ethereum the central asset in its balance-sheet strategy, giving its results greater exposure to ETH prices and staking activity.
The company’s ETH holdings have also grown sharply from the previous weekly disclosure. On September 13, BitMine reported 5,956,378 ETH and total crypto, cash and other holdings of $15.8 billion.
BitMine has not yet reached 6 million ETH. However, its latest disclosure places that milestone within a relatively small additional purchase. The company’s stated 5% accumulation target also remains the key benchmark for its Ethereum treasury strategy.
