What is Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD)?
Volume delta is the difference between aggressive buying and aggressive selling in each candle. Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD) is the running total of that difference over time - a direct read on which side is applying pressure, aggregated here across all tracked exchanges.
CVD Divergence
The most-watched CVD signal: when price makes a new high but CVD does not (bearish divergence), the rally is running on thin buying and often marks exhaustion. When price falls but CVD rises (bullish divergence), sellers are being absorbed by larger buyers - classic accumulation behavior.
CVD Breadth
The share of all tracked symbols with positive CVD in the selected window. Readings near the extremes show one side firmly in control of the whole market, while a flip through 50% often accompanies regime changes.
